Vintage Tibetan Buddhist Crystal Stupa Chorten Reliquary Altar 9 Inch

Distinctive Tibetan/Himalayan Buddhist stupa or chorten-form devotional object, approximately 9 inches tall including its removable finial. The clear body has a rounded reliquary chamber containing intentional multicolored stone offerings, a tiered spire, colored cabochon-like insets around the base, and a hand-painted red Buddhist swastika/auspicious symbol underneath. Stupas represent the enlightened mind of the Buddha in Tibetan Buddhist tradition and may be filled with sacred or precious substances. This example makes an especially striking altar, meditation-space, or collection piece while preserving the contents already present inside.
