Vintage Japanese "The Little Hostess" Children's Lusterware Tea Set

This charming miniature porcelain piece is a complete delight for collectors of mid-century playware. Known as "The Little Hostess Set," this vintage children's tea set was beautifully crafted in Nagoya, Japan, featuring a striking pastel blue and cream iridescent lusterware finish accented by a delicate hand-painted motif. CONDITION
Good vintage/pre-owned condition. The exterior glaze remains wonderfully glossy and bright with beautiful iridescent qualities. The original box is included and shows age-appropriate shelf wear, structural softening, and staining consistent with its long history. Please note there is a minor chip on the inside rim of the teapot which is hidden when the lid is securely attached and 1 cup was cracked and repaired. No other major chips or cracks are visibly apparent, though minor manufacturing irregularities and slight gilt/paint loss may be present.
