Beautiful Satsuma style garden stool features a cream-colored, porcelain base decorated with intricate hand-painted floral and geometric patterns in rich, tonal shades of red, gold, and brown. Gold ribbons appear to dance around large peonies, assorted flowers, and organic shapes, highlighted by raised enamel and gilt detailing. It is very versatile. Use it as a patio/garden seat, an accent table in your living room, or as a decorative piece anywhere in your home. Made in China for export, c.late 20th century. The garden stool has the traditional vents and raised dots(bosses), banding the top and bottom. It is in very good condition with minimal wear consistent with age and use.
