Vintage Chinese Brass Teapot Enamel Fu Good Fortune Wood Handle China

A charming vintage Chinese teapot featuring an aged brass-tone body, turned wooden handle and colorful applied enamel plaques. Each decorative plaque centers on the Chinese 福 (fú) character, traditionally associated with good fortune, blessings and happiness.

Its compact cylindrical shape, gracefully curved spout, stepped lid and beautifully aged surface give this little teapot wonderful character as a decorative collectible.

CONDITION
Vintage condition with age-related wear throughout, including patina, oxidation, surface marks, scratches and discoloration to the metal. The wooden handle shows substantial age and surface wear. Enamel decoration also shows areas of wear/loss consistent with age.

A thin cord/wire is present around the lid/handle area. Its age and originality are unknown, so it is being left exactly as found.

The colorful enamel plaques feature the Chinese character 福 (fú), an auspicious symbol representing good fortune, blessing and happiness.
