Vintage Rosenthal Keramik Yellow Crackle Glaze Serving Bowl Art Deco Germany

Bold color and beautifully textured glaze give this vintage Rosenthal Keramik serving bowl plenty of visual impact. Estimated to date from the late 1930s or 1940s, the shallow ceramic bowl features a vibrant yellow craquelé glaze with fine brown veining and a contrasting brown rim. Its generous form works well as a fruit bowl, centerpiece, serving piece or colorful display accent in an Art Deco, eclectic or Mid-Century-inspired interior.

CONDITION
Good vintage/pre-owned condition with notable flaws.

The bowl retains a bright, glossy yellow finish with an intentional allover craquelé glaze pattern. Several small chips and glaze losses are present along the rim and outer edge, including multiple exposed ceramic spots shown in the close-up photographs. There is also light surface wear, minor discoloration and expected wear around the unglazed foot.
The decorative crackle pattern is an original glaze treatment and should not be mistaken for accidental crazing; however, buyers should avoid soaking older crackle-glazed pottery or placing it in a dishwasher.
