Antique frame featuring a distinctive, elongated octagonal shape with ornate gilded detailing. The frame has intact convex/bubble glass and highlights the beautifully tinted photograph of a woman wearing a sailor blouse. Of course, you may substitute a photo or artwork of your choosing. It would also make a lovely mirror. The frame is embellished with gold trim and scrolling typically found in the late 19th-early 20th century. It was originally displayed hanging from a picture railing and includes gold cording and the picture-rail medallion. There is some wear consistent with age and use, most evidently on the back.
