Vintage Japanese Tea Cups and Saucers Set of 3 MCM Geometric Pottery

This delightful set includes three vintage Japanese handleless tea cups with coordinating saucers in avocado green, chocolate brown, and creamy ivory. Likely made during the 1960s or 1970s, each ceramic piece features a softly triangular silhouette with folded, origami-like facets and a glossy tonal glaze; the green pieces also display an especially attractive crackled finish. Perfect for small servings of tea or coffee, the set also makes a colorful addition to a Mid-Century Modern tablescape, tea bar, or pottery collection.

CONDITION
Very Good vintage/pre-owned condition.

The set presents beautifully with no obvious chips, cracks, or repairs visible. There is light age-appropriate surface wear and variation in the glazes. Fine crackling is visible, particularly on the green pieces, and appears consistent with the decorative glaze; small glaze irregularities and variations are inherent to vintage ceramic production. Several original “Made in Japan” foil labels remain attached.
Because the pottery is vintage, the glaze has not been independently tested for food safety. Microwave and dishwasher safety are unknown; gentle hand washing is recommended.
