Korean brass brazier, also known as a hwaro or tripod fire pot, dating to the late 19th to early 20th century. These were traditionally used in upper-class Korean households for heating rooms, cooking, or keeping food warm. The brazier features a deep, wide-rimmed bowl supported by three sturdy riveted, cabriole legs. The brazier make a fabulous planter or centerpiece. Fill it with moss, wood, or glass ornamental balls; or anything that comes to your imagination, to create a fabulous tablescape. Wear and patina consistent with age and use.
