Antique Imperial Glass NUCUT Oval Relish Bowl Pressed Glass Sawtooth 6.5"

Antique Imperial Glass Company NUCUT clear pressed-glass oval relish or serving bowl, made in Bellaire, Ohio during the early 20th century. Molded with an elaborate cut-glass-look design of geometric diamonds, hobstar/starburst and fan motifs, the bowl is finished with a dramatic sawtooth rim and retains the molded NUCUT trademark. Its compact oval form works beautifully for nuts, candy, olives or relish, or simply displayed as an example of early American pressed glass designed to capture the brilliance of more labor-intensive cut glass.
