Distinctive vintage copper coffee pot featuring a cylindrical body, long narrow side spout and turned wooden handle. The warm aged copper surface, contrasting yellow-metal handle fitting and unusual side-pouring design give this piece wonderful mid-century character.
This style of small copper coffee vessel is associated with mid-century European and Portuguese coffee ware, including pieces produced by makers such as Tagus. No Tagus or other manufacturer's mark has been found on this example, so the maker and country of origin remain unknown.

ABOUT THIS PIECE
Small copper coffee and espresso vessels were produced in a variety of forms throughout Europe and the Mediterranean during the mid-20th century. Portuguese copperware in particular frequently paired warm copper bodies with contrasting wooden handles and narrow pouring spouts. This example has an especially unusual side-pouring configuration, with its long tubular spout positioned approximately perpendicular to the wooden handle.
Its design shares characteristics with vintage Portuguese and Tagus coffee ware; however, no Tagus or Portuguese manufacturer's mark has been found, and we therefore leave the maker and country of origin unattributed.
The metals and interior lining have not been tested, and the piece has not been evaluated for modern food-use safety. It is offered primarily as a vintage collectible and decorative object.
SHIPPING/PICKUP
Available for shipping or local pickup. The projecting spout and wooden handle will be carefully protected during packing.
