Celebrate the 250th birthday of America with a vintage Steuben eagle, sculpted of high-quality lead crystal. Lloyd Atkins designed this eagle(catalog # 5519), often used as a paperweight, in 1983 as part of Steuben's collection of hand coolers. Hand coolers were originally 18th-century porcelain or glass objects held by ladies to keep their palms cool and dry during dances or social events. The Steuben signature is etched on the bottom.
