Charming plate made by the HB(Hubaudière-Bousquet), factory in Quimper, France. It features a hand-painted scene of a traditional Breton man surrounded by floral motifs on a field of HB's signature yellow "Soleil" glaze. The plate is finished with a scalloped or octagonal edge and signed on the underside. c.early 20th-century.
