Stunning vintage art glass oil lamp and paperweight, hand-blown in 1987 by artist Erik Brakken at the renowned Glasshouse Studio in Seattle, Washington. This low-profile, spherical piece features a brilliant iridescent "oil slick" surface treatment that shimmers with an organic fanning pattern of pink, magenta, purple, and blue tones. The central top aperture is designed to support a standard fiberglass wick tube insert. Perfect as a glowing tabletop center light when filled, or displayed prominently under ambient light as an elegant collectible paperweight on a desk or bookshelf.

CONDITION
Very Good vintage/pre-owned condition. The blown glass body features a wonderfully smooth, glossy, and vibrant iridization with no visible chips, cracks, or heavy surface scratches. As a unique hand-blown artist piece, it displays natural internal air bubbles, inclusions, and a professionally ground, polished pontil scar on the bottom base. Please note that the glass wick holder assembly and oil are not included with this piece.
