Handcrafted 18th-19th century footed chest with intricate floral carvings, metalwork, and details. The chest is beautiful and very old, which adds to its charm. It has stood the test of time, as can be seen by the hand-cut nails, warping, and natural splitting on both the vertical and horizontal surfaces due to expansion and contraction of the wood throughout the years. A wood piece was more recently added to the front of the chest for support.
